This was definitely a week for legos! Using the culture pass from the public libraries, we were able to go to the Science Museum where they have a big exhibit featuring
Lego Castle. Life sized knights made of Legos, expertly designed castles on display, an area to joust, and tables for building your own Lego castles. Joe Joe and his friend worked for quite a while on this lego castle and Joe Joe worked hard designing the gardens to go along with the castle. Besides the Lego exhibit we also experienced "
The Forces of Nature" through the science museum's "immersion theatre." The video showed different forces such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and lightning strikes and those of us on the stage got to "feel" these events, as it rained on us during the hurricane and the force of the lightning bolt was felt in the floor. Very cool exhibit! Continuing on a theme we made our way over to the Lego store on Saturday and spent a good amount of time looking at all the different lego sets and the many displays they had out.
There's been lots more going on besides Legos though. Ezra is now working on pulling himself up to a sitting position when you hold his hands-boy is he growing fast! Not only that, he had his first swim in the pool (sorry, no pictures, he was skinny dipping!) Joe Joe finished swim team this week but still has his diving lessons to go to. Mom and Dad are just trying to keep up and get enough sleep... :)
